Aging Skin Fighter
2 tsp. plain yogurt
1/2 tsp. honey
1/2 tsp. lemon juice
3 capsules vitamin E (equivalent of 300 units)

Combine yogurt, honey and lemon juice. open the vitamin E capsules and fold contents into the mix. Leave on skin for 15 minutes.

Bathroom air spray

This wonderfully refreshing air spray will keep your bathroom clean from bacteria and viruses.

Fill a pump-spray bottle with 500ml of distilled water then add the following essential oils:

Shake this mixture well before each use. Spray every day to keep your bathroom smelling fresh and clean.

Disinfectant Spray for Surfaces

3 drops Cinnamon Leaf Essential Oil
5 drops Pine Needle Essential OIl
2 drops Frankincense Essential Oil
10 drops Bergamot Essential Oil
1/8 t. Isle of Skye Aromatherapy's Shower Gel
30 ounces water

Combine essential oils with Isle of Skye Aromatherapy's Shower Gel and water in a 32 oz. trigger spray bottle. Spray on and wipe surface dry. Disinfects countertops, stovetops and tile.

Cranberry Lipgloss


Ingredients:
10 fresh cranberries
1 tbsp sweet almond oil
1 tsp honey
1 drop of Vitamin E oil

Directions:
Microwave ingredients until the mixture just begins to boil. Stir well and gently crush the berries. Cool mixture then strain to remove all the fruit pieces. Stir again and set aside to cool completely. Store in a  plastic container or tin.
Teresa's wood polish

4 fl oz olive oil
1/2 teaspoon of Lemon essential oil

Mix in a small bottle, apply with a soft cloth and buff to shin. Olive oil feeds the wood and the lemon gives a fresh smell.
Fresh smelling cupboards and drawers

To keep your clothes smelling fresh, add a few drops of essential oils to cotton wool balls and place them in cupboards and drawers. My favorite oils to use for this is lavender and lemongrass. This also helps to keep moths at bay.

Banana Mask

Ingredients:
2 medium bananas
*honey optional

Instructions:
Mash bananas. Add honey if desired. Smooth over skin, let sit for 10 minutes, rinse off with cool water

Oatmeal Vanilla Bath


Ingredients:
oatmeal,
1 Tb. vanilla extract
1/2 c. baking soda

Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor until you have a smooth paste. Pour this paste under the running water while drawing the bath. Very soothing to dry, itchy skin.

Cucumber Facial Mask

Ingredients:
1 tbsp instant nonfat dry milk
1/2 peeled cucumber
1 tsp plain yogurt

Instructions
Put all ingredients into a blender and mix well until smooth. Apply to your face (avoid your eyes). Leave on for 15-20 minutes, then rinse off.

Acne Mask

Ingredients:
-1/2 cup oatmeal, ground finely
-half an apple, ripe
-cut 2 inches off a cucumber
-2 tablespoons milk

Instructions:
Blend well, it might be a little tough, so I advise you to cut the apple and cucumber before putting it in the blender. Apply fresh onto face, leave on for 20 minutes. Wash off with lukewarm water. This mask will help to reduce redness, oil and blackheads.

Toning Mask

Ingredients:
1/2 tsp. of sea salt
2 egg yolks
1/2 cup of yogurt

Instructions:
Add all ingredients, apply to face and let dry. This is an exfoliating, tightening and soothing facial application.

Chamomile Astringent

Ingredients:
1/2 cup chopped fresh mint (or 2 tbsp dried)
2 tbsp dried chamomile flowers, crushed
4 cups water

Instructions:
Combine ingredients in a small saucepan. Boil for 10 minutes, then remove from heat and allow to steep for 5 minutes. Strain liquid into a jar, cover and refrigerate. Will keep 2 weeks refrigerated. Apply with/ cotton balls to skin. Especially good for very oily skin.

Gelatin Peel Off Mask


Ingredients:
1 packet un-flavored gelatin
1/2 cup fresh fruit juice/herb extract*

Instructions:
Gently heat the gelatin with your liquid until the gelatin is dissolved completely. Let cool until it is almost set. Smooth the mixture on your face and let dry completely. Peel off!

Salt Exfoliator

Ingredients:
1 cup salt, any kind
1 cup veggie oil, any kind
1 cup liquid soap

Instructions
Mix all the ingredients and massage into the skin then rinse well. Salt is natures' healing ingredient for all!

Gentle Facial Cleanser

Ingredients:
1/2 cup oatmeal or cornmeal
2 tbs of plain yogurt [Add enough yogurt to form a paste]

Instructions
Mix ingredients, smooth over entire face avoiding eye area. Allow to sit for 10 min and rinse
